![]() Get ready to visit a host of classic Ice Age locations, where you’ll jump from icicle to icicle, ride raging geysers, leap across burning lava, and reach for impossible heights, all with Scrat’s hilarious slapstick acrobatics. It’s up to you to guide Scrat through a hilarious 3D action-adventure, where you’ll face fierce prehistoric creatures, survive crazy calamities, and return the missing relics to their rightful home. There’ll be some warnings from Windows, but if you just export and restore those sub-folders, there’s no harm you can actually do to your system.Ice Age’s favorite sabre-tooth squirrel, Scrat, is at it again in an all-new adventure! A mysterious mechanism in an ancient Scratazon Temple, has locked away his prized possession – and the only way to get it back is an epic quest to find four legendary Crystal Nuts, scattered across the land. And in case you want to restore it on a different computer (or exchange your file), just double-click on the file, and it will add to the registry. By the way, for anyone interested, you can backup those registry files, too, just right-click on the appropriate sub-folder in the directory to the left, then choose export, and save it as a reg-file. I just want to help anyone who’ll wonder in the future to avoid any confusion. No offense, these issues are really kind of irritating, know this from my own experience too well. And by the way, pcgamingwiki says the same.Īnd sorry, I seriously don’t want to sound as a know-it-all. Look into the registry (start it with the command ‘regedit’), and under HKEY_CURRENT_USER - SOFTWARE - Outright Games Ltd - Ice Age Scrat’s Nutty Adventure, you’ll see some entries that indicate that those are the save files. In these cases, save files are often stored in the registry (this is quite common for the Unity engine), and this applies here, too. I’ve actually seen this several times from other games. But in this case, when I look into ‘AppData - LocalLow - Outright Games Ltd - Ice Age Scrat’s Nutty Adventure’, there are only log- and analyzing files from Unity, no save data at all. Generally you’re right, many Unity games do indeed store their save files in the LocalLow folder, and a lot of your other games do, too. I know, super late answer, and also sorry for necroing this thread, but I think I have to correct this a bit for later readers. ![]()
